We, the parents, students, alumni, and community members of St. Joseph School in Greenville, Mississippi, are deeply heartbroken and disappointed by the decision to let go of our principal, Mr. Craig Mandolini.

Mr. Mandolini has been so much more than an administrator. He is a leader who truly cares , someone who knows every student by name, who shows up for families in moments of joy and hardship, and who leads with compassion, integrity, and faith. That level of care is something you can’t teach; it’s something that comes from a person’s heart.

This decision, made barely two months into the school year, has blindsided our entire school community. Every student and every parent feels deeply impacted, upset, and heartbroken. The students are devastated. Parents are shocked and struggling to make sense of why someone who has given so much to this school is being let go.

Under Mr. Mandolini’s leadership, St. Joe has been a place where students feel valued, supported, and safe. He’s worked tirelessly to build a culture rooted in kindness, respect, and excellence. You simply can’t find a better person to lead this school.

We strongly disagree with this decision and respectfully call for it to be reconsidered. St. Joe deserves a principal who leads with heart, and that’s exactly what Mr. Craig Mandolini has done, every single day.
