Anne Howie RMT activist at Manchester Piccadilly is facing dismissal with no due process.

Anne Howie has been removed her position as a TPE Dispatcher, by the sub contractor Carlisle Support Services at the behest of the client TransPennine Express.

TPE allege this request to remove Anne is due to safety concerns. TPE have not followed their own procedures and have effectively sacked Anne before any investigation has been completed. Following a meeting with Carlisle they have refused a request to allow Anne to return to work. She now faces redeployment to another role, which is not her job, not the job she has done for 4 years, not the job she applied for. Or dismissal.

There is no due process here, no disciplinary, no attempts at mediation, it is back handed sacking, trying to bust the union and remove activists without any fair hearing.

We demand TPE allow Anne Howie to return to work at Manchester Piccadilly with immediate effect and allow the process to be completed correctly and fairly. We demand Carlisle Support Services take no action against Anne until this has happened.
