We just want to say, thank you!

You took action. You stood up for the health of our communities and demanded that REI take action on “forever chemicals” and stop using PFAS in all of their clothing and gear. And, together, you should stand proud!

More than 130,000 people like you signed petitions. Hundreds signed up to take action at their local stores across the U.S. from Seattle to NYC. People stood together demanding change. We showed up at stores, e-mailed the CEO, and called customer service. Together, our message broke through and REI responded!

But we are not done. 

While REI said it will start taking some action, they have still not fully committed to stop using PFAS in all of their clothing and gear. We continue to look forward to the day when we can publicly congratulate REI for leading the outdoor industry away from forever chemicals. But until that day, together, we will continue to stand up against PFAS and other toxic chemicals that harm the health of our communities and our environment.
