As a resident of The Lowveld, I have witnessed firsthand the dangers and inconveniences caused by the heavy truck traffic along the N4 highway. The congestion from these trucks, particularly from Nelspruit to Komatipoort and about 20km before Komatipoort, is not only causing significant delays but also posing a serious threat to road safety. 

The lawlessness displayed by some of these truck drivers is alarming. Parking along the N4 obstructs traffic flow and compromises other road users' safety. Several serious accidents have already occurred due to this reckless behavior, indicating that we are on the brink of a catastrophe if immediate action isn't taken.

The current situation is unsustainable for both residents and visitors alike who rely on this crucial route for daily commuting or travel purposes. We need our local authorities to step in now before more lives are put at risk.

We urge our government officials to implement stricter regulations for truck drivers using this route, including designated parking areas away from main roads and harsher penalties for those breaking traffic laws. Additionally, we call upon them to explore alternative routes or methods of transportation that could help reduce overall truck traffic on the N4.
