A.I image generators are currently making shockwaves across the art world as text to image converters are producing higher quality outputs with each update. A fascinating development in machine learning that is proving useful to many it is also causing many artists to question their future relevancy and careers. 

The biggest fear, and a very justified one, is that the datasets these generators are using are comprised of copyrighted images, images that artists have not given permission to be used in such context and that the resulting images are comprised of and derived from their original works. 

This petition proposes that any A.I generated art used for any form of commercial gain must only use images in its dataset that have permission to be used for such. 

A new category for image copyrighting should exists that specifically allows for A.I use and that artists should have the power to "Opt-in" their works for such use. 

Additionally, another category should exist that allows for use images for A.I generated derivatives as long as credit is given to the original artist.
