O problema

Hello, I'm a fellow player from the game, Hyerin, as a brazilian we have been suffering from unfair prices for quite a while, a story I think is echoed across the global servers.

Please sign this to show your support for the following text I will send to the e-mails of the decision makers of RiftSky Games.

To the Owners and Managers of RiftSky Games,
From the Players of The Cozy Florist,

We’re writing as dedicated players who appreciate the calm, creative experience your game provides—and who also want to see it thrive long term. We understand that The Cozy Florist is currently one of your top revenue generators, and we recognize that you run a business, not a charity. Precisely because of that, we believe there are smart, low‑risk changes you can make that will grow your revenue, stabilize your player base, and increase lifetime spending—without reducing income from higher‑income regions.

1) Implement Regional Pricing for In‑App Purchases
Right now, prices appear to be set in a single currency bracket that works well for players earning in USD or similarly strong currencies. However, a large share of your audience lives in Latin America, parts of Asia, and even some European countries where local purchasing power is lower. When prices don’t reflect local realities, two things happen:

Players who want to spend simply can’t afford current price points.
Players who do spend feel pressured and may reduce or stop spending altogether.
Regional pricing is a standard, proven practice in digital games. Major storefronts like Steam, Epic, and GOG routinely adjust prices by region to match local economies, and they do so profitably. This isn’t charity; it’s market optimization. By aligning prices with local income and purchasing power:youtube

Existing spenders in lower‑income regions can buy more often or in larger amounts.
New spenders who previously couldn’t justify purchases enter the monetization loop.
You build a larger, more loyal, and more stable global customer base.
A common concern is VPN abuse. A practical mitigation is to tie regional pricing to the country where the account was created (and/or the primary payment method country), rather than the current IP address. This keeps the system fair while limiting arbitrage.

2) Know and Design for Your Core Player Base
Who plays The Cozy Florist? While we don’t have your internal analytics, the game’s tone, art, marketing, and community signal that a large portion of your audience is women, many of whom are working adults balancing jobs, family, and limited discretionary income. For these players, the game is a way to decompress after long days—not to wrestle with pricing that feels disconnected from their reality.play.google+2

When pricing feels optimized only for a small, high‑income minority, the majority of your players feel ignored. That erodes trust and reduces willingness to spend. In any consumer business, the core truth remains: your revenue depends on customers feeling respected, understood, and fairly treated.

What We’re Asking For
Adopt regional pricing for gems, passes, bundles, and other IAPs, based on recognized tiers used by major platforms.
Review price points with local purchasing power in mind, not just exchange rates.
Communicate openly with your community about changes; players respond well when they feel heard.
These steps don’t require you to “lose money.” They require you to meet your players where they are—economically and emotionally. Done well, regional pricing and audience‑aware design typically increase total revenue, not decrease it.youtube

We hope you’ll consider this feedback seriously. Listening won’t make you poorer; it will help you grow.

Sincerely,
The Players of The Cozy Florist
