Petition Sent to Heidi Ortiz

Hi Everyone - what a fierce response from the community. We hit over 800 signatures in a little over 24 hours. 

I sent the following email this morning to Ms. Ortiz, CEO at the VC Fairgrounds. 

Hi Ms Ortiz,

I’m reaching out to share a petition that has garnered over 800 signatures in a little over 24 hours to reject any discussion of data center infrastructure at the fairgrounds.

We’re unsure how serious the talks are, or if this proposal is even being considered, but we proactively want you and the board to know that VC and the people reject the idea and request that discussions of a data center halt immediately.
