We, the students who registered for the Tathva workshop at NIT Calicut, have not received our refunds following the cancellation of the technofest.

Despite an initial notice stating that only workshop fees (and not hostel accommodation fees) would be refunded, we have still not received any refunds. Over the past six months, we have been asked to fill out forms and go through various processes that have only served to delay the refunds further. Some of us have even faced attempts to suppress our complaints, including the use of burner SIMs.

A total amount of ₹1000 (workshop fee) along with the hostel accommodation fees was collected from each of us. Students from all over Kerala are still waiting for their money, with no updates or responses from the organizers. This is completely unacceptable and absurd.

We demand immediate action from the authorities of NIT Calicut to refund the collected fees. We have been patient for long enough, and it is time for our concerns to be addressed and our money to be returned.
