I have used three NACES evaluation companies (WES,ECE, Josef Silny) and spent a significant amount of money and effort, only to miss the deadline to apply to a school in the U.S. Two years later, my husband from a different country (and we both graduated from old, reputable institutions) is facing the same issue. NACES companies lack a standardized process and mislead their customers, resulting in incorrect GPAs that are often lower than the ones awarded in their countries of origin. Additionally, many people miss their deadlines due to misleading timeframes provided by these companies. It's time to change the requirement for undergraduate and graduate international students to evaluate their foreign diplomas through NACES companies.
