Reevaluate Manslaughter Conviction of My Son in a Traffic Accident

Reevaluate Manslaughter Conviction of My Son in a Traffic Accident
The Issue
My son, a conscientious citizen known for his kindheartedness, was recently convicted of manslaughter following a tragic car accident. The incident was particularly dreadful as he was left with injuries, including a broken femur requiring rods in his legs.
The considerable controversy surrounding his conviction lies in the circumstances of the accident. The driver of the other vehicle was not only markedly over the legal alcohol limit but also failed to stop at a stop sign. She was not wearing a seatbelt which resulted in her getting ejected from the vehicle.
Despite these details which clearly establish negligence on her part, and the conclusion from the medical examiner and police categorizing this as an accident, my son was unjustly convicted of manslaughter.
Moreover, the fairness of his trial is questionable. He was denied the right to hire his own legal counsel and instead had an attorney appointed to him without his knowledge. This unfortunate situation seems like the system was unfairly prejudiced against him.
In light of the above, we are requesting the legal review and reevaluation of his case. We believe in the impartiality and fairness of our judiciary and trust that it will correct this clear miscarriage of justice. It is important to remind ourselves that justice is not merely about enforcement of laws but ensuring the right application of these laws. Please help us in our pursuit of justice and truth by signing this petition.
