I, like many other British citizens, have always enjoyed the right to move and work freely across the European Union. However, since the outcome of Brexit, this right has unfortunately been curtailed, restricting us from wanting to live in the EU. The freedom to live, work, and commune with our European neighbors is a fundamental right that we, the British, deeply cherish.

Post-Brexit, we have faced immense difficulties in moving and working within the EU, which has traditionally been a space for cultural exchange, opportunity, and personal growth. The unprecedented legal changes have directly impacted approximately 1.3 million British people living in the EU (source: Office for National Statistics, UK).

It is crucial now, more than ever, that our government negotiates to reestablish our freedom of movement within the EU. This will not only allow British citizens to enjoy the privileges they once had but also reemphasize that our connection with Europe is about more than politics; it's about people, their hopes, dreams, and aspirations.
