What is the problem?

• Papers are thrown at the will of a candidate’s patrons on roads and college campuses which serves no purpose apart from waste generation 
• Visiting cards given to random passer-by are also thrown down as waste

Why is this a problem?

• This is leading to paper wastage
• Unsanitary campus environment throughout the month of DUSU and college elections

How do we tackle it?

• Appealing to the conscience of candidates and seeking support.
• Adoption of digital campaigns, posters at designated places and banners with proper safety measures by candidates which must be regulated by DUSU and college election administrations.
• Use of Cloth Posters instead of Paper banners.
• Use of Dairies made with recycled paper 
• Jointly addressing the concern
