The Duchy of Lancaster Primary School is a village school which is directly outside of Hythe road, a very busy road, in Methwold, Norfolk. 

Twice a day young school children and their parents are put in danger when crossing Hythe road to attend school. This is due to the where the school is situated (lack of visibility for pedestrians on a blind bend with lack of  dropped curbs), no safe place to cross, increased volume of vehicles and the 30 mph speed limit.

Now that there are more houses in the village there are more vehicles using Hythe road and its only a matter of time before someone gets hit by a car and seriously hurt.

There is an urgent need for the speed limit on this road to be decreased from 30mph to 20mph and there is an urgent need for a safe school crossing
