Reduce the Entry Fee for Non-Riders at Blackpool Amusement Park

The Issue

My family adores visiting Blackpool amusement park, an experience tarnished by the exorbitant £50 entry fee for non-riders. My children's father, unable to enjoy the rollercoasters, still has to pay the same price as those who can. This discouraging policy restricts us from visiting as frequently as we would like, as that £50 could be spent on food and other experiences inside the park.

Before Covid-19, that fee for non-riders was an affordable £6, a rate that seems distant now. This isn't just our personal problem; many families and individuals in Blackpool may also be facing this issue, preventing them from spending a day out without needing to donate a considerable payment merely to enter the park. It's especially harsh for those wanting to enjoy time with their family but, like in our situation, can't ride the coasters.

A reduction of the fee to at least £10 for non-riders would be a fair and reasonable compromise, making the park more accessible and financially feasible for families like ours. We propose Blackpool amusement park to reinstitute the non-rider entry at this more ethical cost.

Grasp this opportunity to make Blackpool’s amusement park more inclusive and fair. Sign the petition and stand up for the reduction of non-rider entry fees.
