We the undersigned, ask that Norton Rd, Baldock, Herts, has a speed limit reduction from the motorway bridge.  The users of North Herts Equitation Centre, have to lead their horses along this 60mph rd, for approximately 130 meters, in order to access their field.  On Thursday 19th January, a horse was struck by a car travelling along this road.  The horse has horrendous injury’s and the owner was very lucky not to have been hit herself.  This is not the first time that an incident has happened on this stretch of road.  A 14year old boy was knocked off of his bike and unfortunately died from his injuries some years ago.
