Reduce Rick Freeman's sentence in Wisconsin
The Issue
My name is Tiffany Butler and I am reaching out to request your support on behalf of Rick Freeman. I have had the privilege of knowing Rick for over 10 years and during this time, I’ve witnessed one of the most remarkable personal transformations I’ve ever seen.
Rick's early life was marked by challenges and circumstances that led him astray. Growing up in an environment that did not provide the necessary support, Rick made some decisions that ultimately led him to a path of hardship. Despite these setbacks, Rick has demonstrated true resilience and strength, transforming himself into a person we can all be proud of.
Over the past few years, Rick has focused wholeheartedly on personal development, education, and giving back to others. He has taken countless courses aimed at improving his social and job skills and has mentored at-risk youth, sharing his story to prevent them from making the same mistakes.
Rick is more than his past mistakes; he is a father, a brother, a mentor, and a friend to many. His dedication to change and his hard work have not gone unnoticed by those around him, and his positive impact on the community is evident. We believe that Rick has paid his debt to society and deserves a second chance to contribute positively outside the prison walls.
We urge the Governor of Wisconsin to review Rick Freeman’s case and consider commuting his sentence. A reduction in his years would not only honor Rick's journey of transformation but would also allow him to reunite with his family and continue making a positive impact in the community.
Please join us in this call for justice and in promoting rehabilitation over punishment. Let us show our support for Rick Freeman, a man who truly embodies the spirit of second chances. Sign this petition to help Rick obtain the opportunity he has worked so hard for. Your signature could be the catalyst for change that Rick so deeply deserves.
