Remove Palm Oil

The issue

Red Rooster committed to removing palm oil by January 2012, however they continue to still use palm oil.
Red Rooster currently uses an oil blend made up of 75% Canola and 25% Palm oil (which is the exact amount they were previously using in 2010), they stated they would remove palm oil by January 2012, but have not done so.

Dear All, Please see below our oil commitment which is posted on our website: Please be assured that Quick Service Restaurant Holdings understand the concerns that have been expressed about the environmental effects of palm oil use. That is why, as a key part of our broader sustainability program, Red Rooster commit to completely eliminating palm oil use from all of Red Rooster restaurants from the 1st week in July 2013. Thanks again for your concerns. Mark Bayliss Chief Executive Officer
