Red Rooster committed to removing palm oil by January 2012, however they continue to still use palm oil.
Red Rooster currently uses an oil blend made up of 75% Canola and 25% Palm oil (which is the exact amount they were previously using in 2010), they stated they would remove palm oil by January 2012, but have not done so.

Dear Red Rooster,

I understand that you currently use an oil blend made up of 75% Canola and 25% Palm oil, and in 2010 you stated that

"Red Rooster is working towards completely eliminating artificial colouring and flavours, as well as moving to 100% palm-oil free operations. "

"Recognising the environmental effects of palm oil, Red Rooster has now moved to 75% canola oil, and by January 2012 plans to completely eliminate palm oil from its operations. These actions represent important steps on Red Rooster’s sustainability journey. "

However Red Rooster has not removed Palm Oil, and continues to use Palm Oil. I write to you and urge you to work on this broken commitment and remove Palm Oil from all Red Rooster operations.
