Australia, has a lot to be proud of. Our history, music, food, art, fashion, sports and inventions are unique and deserve to be celebrated. We propose that the Australian government officially recognise January as 'Australia Month'. This month already holds significant meaning for Australians; it's when we celebrate Federation Day on January 1st and Australia Day on the 26th. By declaring the entire month as 'Australia Month', we can extend these celebrations throughout January. This will not only boost national pride but also increase awareness of our cultural heritage both domestically and internationally. Many different groups worldwide have a dedicated month to recognize their demographic or group - it's time for Australians to have theirs too.
