Reboot Wheel 2000

Reboot Wheel 2000
The Issue
Wheel 2000 was a kids’ game show based on the original Wheel of Fortune which ran from 1997 to 1998. The wheel had various sections such as physical games, Loser (Lose a Turn), The Creature (Bankrupt), and other wedges like prize wedges. The gameplay of the show is similar to the original; three contestants must score as many points as possible by solving puzzles. The contestant with the highest score advances to the bonus round, and win a prize of their choice by solving the bonus puzzle. The puzzles in the show are somehow different than the original; they have one or two words related to the chosen category. After the contestant solves the puzzle, the word related to the puzzle is sometimes defined by celebrities or the host of the show.
Kids today would like to experience that gameplay if Wheel 2000 had a reboot with a completely different title. The puzzles will feature famous quotes, historical events, inventions, etc., and each of those will be described just like on the original show. Let’s not forget the physical games; it will take comic genius to make them even more challenging in order to earn letters for the puzzles. Wheel of Fortune and Wheel 2000 were produced by Sony, so we can only hope that they have the right stuff to give Wheel 2000 an excellent reboot.
