We as victims are always told to report violence or the feeling of being unsafe in public or worse in our own homes. We know the statistics of Most victims of domestic violence end up going back to their abusers,  but that's because of either being scared, financially dependant or they have no one else to go to. So most law enforcement don't take them as seriously as they need to be. This is where the change needs to happen.

When there has been multiple reports filed, multiple phone calls made, and pfas filed. More action needs to take place. A piece of paper does absolutely nothing when the victim is unconscious or incapable of protecting themselves or their family. 

We need high bonds, longer holds, officers capable of patrolling or on look out and more funding making it possible for these victims who truly want to get away and regain control over their lives. 

1 loss is 1 too many. 

And on Saturday September 25,2021 another life was taken due to domestic violence when all the "necessary" steps were taken. 

A mother of 3 is now gone. 

We need this change
