On the well attended residents meeting held last Friday 5 April a community motion petition was launched to force the council to debate the raise in parking charges in the next council meeting. 

The petition is on the Kingston Enquirer site (co dot uk). The full link is listed on this petition site.

If the petition reaches 500 signatures, it will be debated on April 23rd at Guildhall, at 7:30pm, in front of all councillors. The reason for this additional petition is that the council requires a full address from the signees.
