After being wrongly detained for over a year, Carlos remains held in Farmville detention center. His only crime is risking his life to provide a better future for his family. He has no pending charges, he's been denied bail and has filed 3 appeals for his release. After a racist and injustice judge decided to put an order of no release on his name, Carlos was denied every opportunity he had. After speaking with Carlos, he informs us that more than 80% of the detainee's were released in 2020; Either because of COVID or because the detention center was being sued. He states that only 5 men remain in his cell (which initially could hold 30+ individuals).  How is it that these immigrants can be detained for months, years without knowing how long they'll be held or having a right to plea their case? Could you imagine being detained without having committed a crime? Without knowing how long you'll incarcerated? This country is so corrupt and disorganized, that it treats humans however the hell it wants. Carlos is a hard working man, pays taxes, donates to charity, has a family, and is a loyal Christian. Coming to America 20 years ago with nothing and he still was able to start his own company and helped many people along the way. Enough is enough!
