News reported August 7th that a 76 year old Canadian man died in FarmVille detention center. He received no treatment or care while he was undergoing COVID-19. Other detainees claimed they yelled at the officers in charge to please get him to a hospital or he would die. This injustice lead to the death of this man. He was translated to a hospital after officers noticed he was dead, they claimed that he died in the hospital but according to detainees he was already dead when the officers found him. While the entire facility remains open even though all the detainees have tested positive for COVID-19 it’s only a matter of time before others die. We ask that you help close this facility, what is there more to prove with this corrupt center.
