We all knew but never believed in the strength and power of common masses like us, when we take a stand unitedly. Let us pledge in unison for a corruption free administration. We have suffered a lot and for long. The heinous crime that has happened in our City of Joy with an 'on duty' doctor has put us to the edge of our tollerance level. Not only people of West Bengal, the whole country, including people from different corners of the world have expressed their solidarity and sympathy.

Now, as Supreme Court has taken cognigence of the situations and started a suo moto, we believe justice will be done. However, as common people, we feel we should bring a few points to the notice of the honourable Supreme Court: 

1. To prevent the corruption that has led to such heinous crime, the men behind it, should never be allowed to be a part of administration and be punished to the toughest level. 

2. ALL, we reiterate-all should be interrogated quickly and the offenders should be brought to book. 

3. Rights, Responsibilities of a Civic Volunteer should be made public. Eligibility criteria of a Civic Volunteer & Method of their selection should be clearly defined. 

4. Sensitisation sessions on status and honour of citizens, specially-without any GENDER BIAS, for law & order personnel, including Civic Volunteers should be organised at regular intervals.

 5. Security and safety at workplace for all-women & LGBTQ community in particular-must be implemented according to law. We opine, stricter laws need to be brought by the honourable Supreme Court to ensure this.

6. a) Law must ensure that CC TV is installed at all offices and institutions, be it government or private with proper maintenance to keep them in working conditions. Failing to ensures this, should be treated as criminal offence. b) Proper CC TV. surveillance in less populated areas like roads, Railway stations Bus terminals etc.

 7. We demand stringent action against all those, who doesn't follow/implemente the POCSO Act and POSH Act.

 8. ICC must be formed & function in every industry.

 9. Engagement of women as security staff should be increased.

 10. Sex education must be introduced in schools for students of the age 10 onwards.
