Currently, at least Michigan, working at an AMC theater normal staff is only making 10 an hour and managers making only a few dollars more. While working there is great along with the benefits, it can be easily said that $10 dollars an hour, while money is still money, is not the best salary to make if an employee decides to stay at the job for a longer period. While yes the wage, is always based closely on minimum wage in each state, Michigan currently has a minimum wage of $9.87 which leaves normal amc workers only making close to $.14 more that michigan minimum wage. I seek to at least raise our hourly wage to $12 and hour and higher positions making a higher yet even wage with normal staff. If this petition were to reach its goal or be noticed by the people AMC employees will be payed a higher hourly wage letting worker worry less about increasing pricing recently and  keep employees happy.
