The map shown of the Coomera Connector route thru Coomera is going to pass too close to a dense residential area at Foreshore Coomera.  We are in opposition to the proximity of this 6 lane motorway at this location. THis brings in a lot of unwelcome noise, traffic and congestion to this quiet residential area. This  will be just meters from our home which  we purchased for its peace and quiet location. 

Also the thin strip of Reserve along the periphery of Foreshore is home to kangaroos and wallabies which we still see roaming around the forest on a regular basis. We often see young kangaroos with their mothers together in  the early mornings. This forest will then be definitely bulldozed to make way for this highway and will definitely displace these animals. 

What about the environmental impact of this project? How much green will be left of the reserve that cleans up the air we breathe? Will this be replaced by vehicle exhaust?

We therefore strongly oppose this  route just adjacent to Foreshore Coomera development. We hope that the decision makers carefully consider the impact of this project to the wildlife and residents of the surrounding area who will be adversely affected by such infrastructure.
