Sky: The Two Embers is an animation project made by TGC. It is beautiful and an incredible gift to the Sky community. However, the way it’s released is incredibly disappointing. 

If you don’t know know, here’s the current method of accessing Two Embers: go into the Sky Cinema, wait for a very specific time period, and don’t play on Switch or certain versions of Android. That’s right! You can’t even view it on certain platforms! 

And of course, the experience is less than stellar. The constant noise and overcrowded nature makes it difficult to truly enjoy the experience. Even if you use the viewing mode, it’s still angled poorly and filled with annoying particles! 

All of this can be solved if they had just put it on YouTube or a similar service. Switch and Android players would still have another way to access Two Embers. And even better, TGC would gain free money and publicity from doing so! There’s no reason for them to lock it to in-game only. Valuable fans are losing interest in Two Embers, and they’re not doing anything to market this to a broader audience. Releasing this on YouTube will fix these problems. 

Yet sadly, these suggestions have fallen on deaf ears. Here’s the response from a TGC dev, and it’s disheartening to see their total ignorance of our concerns. 

So please, for the love of the community, join us and call for TGC to put Two Embers on YouTube!
