Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that Bob Iger revealed that Disney+ will soon incorporate artificial intelligence in new and unexpected ways, including the ability for users to create their own AI-generated content. The studio’s goal, he explained, is to explore how this technology can enhance storytelling and consumer interaction while protecting Disney’s massive library of franchises and characters.

It kind of sounds interesting what this technology can do, but at the same time, AI should not be used to create art and stories. That job truly belongs to actual living artists. Anything created with AI is basic taking shortcuts, appears soulless and can have atrocious flaws.

This strategy is also kind of another sign that Disney+ is going backwards with how it should improve its service other than the price increases and other pointless strategies. What the streaming platform really needs to be doing is listening to its fans on how to improve instead of coming up with ways it thinks would improve its service. Hopefully the new potential CEO replacing Bog Iger will make better decisions for Disney+ based on our needs, especially for more missing nostalgic Disney+ to be added once and for all.

Despite how bad this AI decision is, it gives me an idea to work to our advantage. When we do eventually create our own AI-generated content, we should have that content, with Disney characters, talk about how Disney+ needs to make the real effort to add more missing nostalgic Disney content along with other issues to address.
