The lead petitioner for this is Linda Rolfe of Riversdale.

The junction of Bridge Road and Radyr Court Road is a busy crossing point for pedestrians, runners and cyclists. It has become increasingly difficult and more dangerous. The housing developments on Llantrisant Road and the BBC site have increased traffic considerably along Bridge Road in both directions. Radyr Court Road is a popular route for residents and school children, other casual walkers, runners and cyclists. It is part of officially designated walking routes and adjacent to the Taff trail. 

Users include:

• Local residents wanting to access Llandaff village and the bus stop to the city centre
• Pupils of local schools - Ysgol Glantaff, Ysgol Pancae and the Bishop of Llandaff
• Casual walkers including those following the Cambrian Way and Penrhys Pilgrimage route
• Runners and cyclists following local foot paths in the area.

We call on Cardiff Council to install a pedestrian crossing at the junction of Bridge Road and Radyr Court Road in Llandaff for the safety of pedestrians, runners and cyclists.
