As someone who relies on public transit every day, I know firsthand how quickly fare increases add up. With the cost of living continuing to rise, affordable transportation isn’t a luxury - it’s a necessity.

That’s why I’m calling on the City of North Vancouver to support a Low Income Transit Pass (LIT Pass) and join the growing number of municipalities advocating for more affordable transit. Other Canadian cities like Toronto, Regina, and Calgary, have already shown that this works, and it’s time for Metro Vancouver to do the same.
