Haitian communities are being impacted by the lack of protection laws against violence. The people are affected because without protection laws there is no sense of safety anywhere in Haiti, especially where protection is needed most. Schools are being shut down, crime rate is rising, and families have no idea of what "home" is.

     Without change there is no growth. If no change is implemented then communities will continue to suffer, whether with high volume or in silence. Students can and will be affected, families will not feel safe in their own homes, and the conflict will be come stronger and harder to fight. Now is the time to act. It is time to act because if people and humanity continue to let ignorance and violence pass, they will fall for anything.
