Tollinton market is filled with several breeds and spieces which are unfortunately kept in unhygienic and gruesome conditions with no measures taken by Punjab government. These animals are stuffed into tight and inappropriate sized cages and are not fed a sufficient amount of nutrients to survive.

The sellers ignore the silent suffering of these animals just to end up with dirty money that they do not deserve . Organisations such as Project Save animals , Todd’s Welfare Society , United Rescue as well as many more have put themselves forward to take care of these crying souls . Furthermore when they told the sellers that the animals where in bad condition, they demanded several thousands of rupees , despite the condition the poor animals were in 

The type of suffering the have to face include abuse , illegal trafficking of animals and  other horrors .
