The Issue
Summary: Shall the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners deny Special Exception Case 25-32000010 for 1470 Myrtle Lake Hills Road? The expansion of the 6,400 square foot sanctuary, combined with undisclosed school growth at Freedom Christian Academy, creates critical traffic congestion. This proposal threatens the only emergency vehicle access route for the Myrtle Lake Hills, Northridge, Bowling Farms, and Shadow Hill neighborhoods, compromising the public safety of over 400 households.
Essentially the increased “stacked” traffic M-F will only exacerbate the already taxed infrastructure and roads further endangering Fire and EMS services, the public, our elderly and of course our children and pedestrians with the school. Thanks everyone!
Update. Meeting agenda posted tomorrow. Pay close attention to the first item on the agenda. They included a school impact analysis. Lifepoint has not disclosed the school and it has done no such school impact analysis: https://seminolecountyfl.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1365125&GUID=24AC0B3B-0B84-499B-8D14-438C18585EAF
