I was just made aware of this email. I wanted to make sure the Executive Council was aware along with the SEIU omnibus person assigned to PEF. I also included Mr. Jones and the other E-Board members from DOL so they are aware. I have also included the DOCCS Executive Board members. I'm not sure that the DOCCS E-Board members will like it as suggested in the subject line from K Jones as this will result in loss of members from their division.

I received the e-mail below from Kevin Jones a few hours ago. Encouraging PEF members to stop paying PEF dues and replace PEF with NYSCOPBA are major ethics violations. The last time that an E-Board member did that several years ago, the E-Board member, Sue Jeffords was expelled from the union. If Kevin were to be expelled, you might be the only candidate for your current E-Board seat. I suggest that you file ethics charges as soon as possible.
