In response to our last petition update on September 25, 2021, PEF sent Parole Officers an email entitled, “PEF Timeline on “Less is More” opposition.”  In the email, PEF provided a timeline of its advocacy on behalf of Parole Officers, in the news, in the Capitol and through union activities.
 
Unfortunately, PEF failed to inform Parole Officers that in 2018, it endorsed the following “Less is More” politicians:
 
SD30 Brian Benjamin – NY State Senate
 
AD57 Walter Mosley III – NY State Assembly
 
Lt. Governor – Kathy Hochul – New York State
 
In addition to the above mentioned politicians, PEF endorsed a slew of other anti-law enforcement politicians including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and former Governor Andrew Cuomo, respectively.

Due to this conflict of interest, PEF can no longer represent Parole Officers in good faith. We’re demanding the immediate release of Parole Officers from PEF as we strongly believe that NYSCOPBA is the most appropriate union to represent our law enforcement needs.
