As committed Christians, we deeply revere our faith and take respect for our religious beliefs very seriously. Therefore, it was a great disappointment for us to watch the recent Olympic Games and realize that the opening ceremony, with its depictions, mocked Jesus' Last Supper. We demand a public apology from those responsible for the Olympic Games. This action not only offended 2.3 billion Christians worldwide (Pew Research Center, 2015), but also represented a major act of religious disrespect. We are also asking for a donation of 500.000 euros to the OpenDors organization, which helps persecuted Christians worldwide. Right now over 360 million Christians are being persecuted for their faith all around the world. For this we need your voice.
