Dear Families, Friends and Concerned Citizens,

We need your help.  Families, like ours and maybe yours, have been devastated by the global tragedy of addiction, and opiate-fentanyl substance abuse disorder.  Combined, we are two Moms with sons battling PTSD, addiction, substance abuse disorder and/or mental health trauma.  One son is an Afghanistan Army Veteran, and the other son is a hardworking American. Both deserve a chance.  Everyone deserves a chance.

Despite conventional medical treatment, our sons, like so many others, are struggling to find life-saving medicines and pathways to wellness.  New medical approaches, such as the use of psychedelics, are desperately needed for the treatment of PTSD, addiction, substance abuse disorder and mental health struggles.

This petition is one of many critical steps to get legislation passed for researching holistic and psychedelic medicines. We are wholeheartedly asking for your support and signature on this petition.  This will send a clear message to our legislators that bills, such as NC SB 1018 the H.E.A.L Act, MUST be passed to save all those battling PTSD, addiction, substance abuse disorder and mental health trauma.
