Provision of NHS DENTAL SERVICES in Callander and surrounding towns and villages of West Perthshire 

The dental practice in Callander has recently announced that it will cease providing NHS dental services for adults over 18 years of age as from February 2023.

NHS Forth Valley Health Board has supported dental services in Callander and the large rural catchment area of West Perthshire for over 50 years.

The present catchment area for the practice has followed McLaren High School catchment - Killin and all villages to Callander, Brig o’ Turk, Doune, Thornhill, Aberfoyle and its surrounding villages.

Forth Valley Health Board has advised that there are no dental practices offering NHS dental services for new patients in the Stirling area and that local residents now have to travel some distance to obtain NHS dental services.

• voice your concern at this loss of service in rural Scotland and 
• support this petition to Forth Valley Health Board and the Scottish Government, asking them to provide a new locally based NHS dental service for residents of Callander  and surrounding  towns and villages of West Perthshire.
