We have an update on SB 381.

A motion was heard and granted on the California Assembly floor today to refer SB 381 to the Assembly Judiciary Committee. We have received word from Senator Wahab’s office that SB 381 is expected to be heard there on Tuesday, June 30. We don't know the time yet.

The bill is not yet on the official Judiciary Committee agenda, and we will confirm as soon as it is posted.
We are cautiously optimistic and will share more information - including how you can help - as soon as we have it.
California adoptees and allies are still in this fight! Stay tuned.
