We, the writers, artists and political and civil activists who have signed this petition, call on you you to save the life of Behrooz Arab Zadeh, an Iranian writer and civil and political activist from a bitter fate that awaits him and to reside him in a safe country, in accordance with the various clauses of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, including Articles: 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and especially 14 and 15, for you are the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and PEN International and the House of Writers and Human Rights Defenders.

We hold you responsible for his safte passage to a third country and reaching the saftey of a third country. Therefore we ask you to avoid any unpleasant events that would lead to his deportation, imprisonment or execution.

This petition is prepared for Behrooz Arabzadeh, an Iranian political activist, poet, writer and translator.
He is also a member of the "Writers' Association of Iran in Exile". Despite the problems of asylum.

He has published eight books in different countries during his years in exile and has increased his total writings to twelve volumes.

He was wanted by the Islamic Republic of Iran due to writing books that critisized the regime and cultural activities he partook in.
Since 2014 he was forced to leave Iran and apply for asylum at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. In 2018 his application was approved and he was recognized as a refugee.
In 2015, Turkish authorities transferred him to a city in the east of the country, and he suffered an erosive process in Turkish courts because of a "Five days of justified delay" in his introduction to the new city. Although the Turkish Court of Appeals ruled that the "five-day delay in introduction" was justified, the Turkish Supreme Court ruled that he should leave Turkey.

He does not have a valid passport to leave Turkey and is currently faces arrest and deportation to Iran.

If deported to Iran, he could face long-term prison, torture and even execution.

Therefore, we, the writers, artists and political and civil activists who signed this petition, call on your organizations in accordance with the various clauses of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to save his life and provide him assylum in a safe country.

بهروز عرب زاده فعل سیاسی، شاعر، نویسنده و مترجم ایرانی ست که بخاطر نوشتن کتاب های انتقادی و فعالیت های فرهنگی تحت پیگرد جمهوری اسلامی قرار گرفته و در سال 2014 مجبور به ترک ایران و درخواست پناهندگی از کمیساریای عالی پناهندگان و در سال 2018 درخواست وی مورد موافقت قرار گرفته و بعنوان پناهنده شناخته می شود .
وی که عضویت در کانون نویسندگان ایران در تبعید را هم داراست به رغم مشکلات پناهندگی در این سال ها هشت کتاب متعدد را در کشورهای مختلف به چاپ رسانده و مجموع نوشته های خود را به دوازده رسانده است
در سال 2015 مقامات ترکیه محل اقامت وی را تغییر و شهری در شرق این کشور تعیین می کنند و به علت پنج روز کاری دیرکرد موجه در معرفی خود به شهر مورد نظر دچار پروسه ای فرسایشی در دادگاه های ترکیه شده و به رغم موجه تشخیص دادن پنج روز دیرکرد وی از طرف دادگاه استیناف ، دیوان عالی ترکیه حکم به ترک خاک وی می دهد.
وی که فاقد پاسپورت معتبر برای خروج از ترکیه است هم اکنون در معرض دستگیری و دیپورت به ایران قرار دارد که در این صورت وی با حبس های طویل المدت، شکنجه وحتی اعدام می تواند رو به رو شود
از این رو ما نویسندگان و هنرمندان و فعالین سیاسی و مدنی امضا کننده ی این نامه بر اساس بندهای مختلف اعلامیه ی حقوق بشر از جمله ماده های : 3،5،6،7،8،9 و خصوصا 14 و 15 از شما بعنوان دبیر کل سازمان ملل و ریاست پن جهانی بعنوان خانه ی نویسندگان و کشورهای حامی حقوق بشر درخواست می کنیم جان این نویسنده و فعال مدنی و سیاسی ایرانی را از سرنوشت تلخی که در انتظار وی است نجات داده و در کشوری امن اسکان دهید .
پس از این نامه هرگونه اتفاق ناخوشایند ی که منجر به دیپورت و زندانی یا اعدام وی گردد سازمان ها ی مورد خطاب این نامه مسئول عواقب آن خواهند بود

Bu dilekçe İranlı siyasi aktivist, şair, yazar ve çevirmen olan Behrooz Arabzadeh için hazırlanmıştır.
Aynı zamanda "Sürgündeki İran Yazarlar Derneği" üyesidir. İltica sorunlarına rağmen, bu yıllarda farklı ülkelerde sekiz kitap yayınladı ve toplam yazılarını on iki cilde çıkardı.
İran İslam Cumhuriyeti tarafından eleştirel kitaplar yazması ve kültürel faaliyetler nedeniyle aranıyordu ve 2014'ten beri İran'ı terk etmeye ve BM Mülteciler Yüksek Komiserliği'ne sığınma başvurusunda bulunmak zorunda kaldı. 2018'den beri başvurusu onaylandı ve mülteci olarak tanındı.
2015 yılında Türk makamları onu ülkenin doğusundaki bir şehre nakletti ve yeni şehre gedişinde "Beş günlük haklı gecikme" nedeniyle Türk mahkemelerinde yıpranan bir süreç yaşadı. İstinaf mahkemesi, "gedişdeki beş günlük gecikmeyi" haklı bulsa da Yargıtay, Türkiye'den ayrılmasına karar verdi.
Türkiye'den çıkmak için geçerli bir pasaportu yok ve şu anda tutuklanma kararı çikmiş ve yakalandiği yerde İran'a sınır dışı edilecektir . İran'a sınır dışı edilirse uzun süreli hapis, işkence ve hatta idamla karşı karşıya kalabilir.
Bu nedenle, biz bu dilekçeyi imzalayan yazarlar, sanatçılar ve siyasi ve sivil aktivistler olarak , İnsan Hakları Evrensel Beyannamesi'nin 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 ve özellikle 14 ve 15 maddesine dayanarak Birleşmiş Milletler Genel Sekreteri, PEN International ve Yazarlar Evi ve İnsan Hakları Savunucuları olarak, sizi bu İranlı yazarın ve sivil ve siyasi aktivistin hayatını bekleyen acı kaderden kurtarmaya çağırıyoruz. Kendisini bir güvenli ülkede ikamet etmeğine yardimci olun.
Bu mektuptan sonra, sınır dışı edilmesine ve hapse atılmasına veya infaz edilmesine yol açan herhangi bir tatsız olaydan,adı geçen örgütler sorumlu olacaktır.
