Thank you so much to everyone who has signed and shared the petition. We are now at more than 350 signatures, which shows how strongly local families feel about this issue.
The council has now replied and confirmed that petitions need 1,500 signatures to be automatically discussed at a Council meeting. As we have not reached that number yet, the petition will now be looked at by the relevant Head of Service and Portfolio Holder.
The next full Council meeting is on 24 June, so our aim now is to reach 1,500 signatures before then, so this issue can be formally raised and discussed.
Please keep signing, sharing, and tagging your local councillors. Every signature helps make our voice stronger.
Local families need answers, and children need safe, free outdoor water play this summer.
