As a full-time working mum of 5, I am deeply concerned about the safety of our children in Newman. Our kids have to cross busy roads and walk past alcohol-fueled violence just to get home from school. The traffic during drop-off and pick-up times is heavily congested, increasing the risk of accidents.

We urgently need a dedicated bus service for our two primary schools and high school to ensure our children's safety. This will not only provide peace of mind for parents but also reduce traffic congestion and potential accidents in our town.

I call on the department of Transport and Dept of education to work with local government to get a public bus system in place
