UT Tyler has left so many students without housing. Many off-campus living. The importance of people having access to or the option to have housing near or on campus is so so vital. This is not an issue we should let slide by. Whether you got to get housing or not, please put yourself in the shoes of those unable to pay for housing! UT Tyler money is NOT going towards important things. Prioritize current students rather than accepting too many freshmen. Housing should not be a battle to have, especially since parking is already an issue here. Also, having taken away almost half of the housing that was affiliated with UT Tyler has devastatingly caused issues such as raising the prices of the apartments or causing inconvenience to many people. President Julie Philley and others, do something.

The school WILL lose students and suffer financially if this issue is not fixed. Keep an eye out for a peaceful protest and PLEASE PLEASE sign this petition and share it everywhere!! UT Tyler cannot keep getting away with screwing over their students! (Who PAY to go here by the way!)
