I am a 2D clothing designer on Roblox, and like many other designers, I try to make some money on the side through roblox clothing. The new roblox pricing policies have essentially gutted all of 2D clothing. The cost to upload 2D clothing has been raised from 10 robux to 200 robux, to publish it went from 10 to 600 robux. And if that wasn't bad enough, profit margins are slashed from 70% to only 30%.

If this isn't corporate greed, I don't know what is. 2D clothing does not generate as much revenue as 3D items do, the price floor being 5 robux doesn't help either as if one were to simply increase the pricing of their clothing then someone else who has more disposable income would just sell the same thing at 5 robux.

The goal of this petition is to demand an immediate pushback of these changes. Roblox has built its platform on the creativity of independent creators, and 2D clothing designers have been an important part of that ecosystem for years. These new fees and reduced revenue share make it significantly harder for both new and old designers to continue creating, experimenting, and earning from their work.
