Protecting Muslims rights and providing interest-free student finance

Protecting Muslims rights and providing interest-free student finance
The Issue
Higher education belongs to everyone
Over 50,000 students in the UK can’t access higher education because of concerns around the current students loan interest-based system. The department for education has recently viewed alternative finance options to meet the need of this increasing groups, of faith and non, and no option was made available and the reason as announced by the department was “no enough demand”
Example of these groups who are left with no access to higher education are students who describe their faith as Islam; It’s estimated that the number of Muslim students in the UK who are at the age of higher education is over 40,000 students in cities where the religion followers population forms great percentages like London, Birmingham and Manchester.
We believe that the future of Every student does count - We are forming an alliance to work with the government, student unions and other concerned groups to review the backgrounds of this challenge and to find ways to enable future students attain higher education without compromising their values. We believe that this is possible by transforming the current higher education operating model to nonprofit and cooperative-based where tuition fees charged to students are equal to the operational costs of these establishments with view of commercialising research to enhance the higher education system and building new institutions in every city in the country and beyond borders.
Education should never be for profit. We do not want graduate tax, we want the tuition fees abolished altogether. Enabling the youth to access higher levels of education is key, they are the most valuable asset of the future global economy and the fuel of every essential sector connected to our prosperous life. The increased number of global challenges faced by many nations are going to be managed by no one but those future leaders and we have a moral duty to strengthen their knowledges to benefit this country and many developing countries who needs our support.
We would like an shriah-compliant interest-free affordable education system that prioritises home students, that do not discriminate against any student based on their faith, and that do not exceed the administration cost of our universities. We have estimated such costs and we are calling for the reduction of the current tuition fees to £2400 per academic year with the option of monthly payment plans.
The Students Alliance is being created solely for the purpose of ensuring that everyone in this country has an equal right of affordable quality higher education regardless. This challenge is our core foundation and we work with supporters to promote non-profit higher education alternative systems in the UK & abroad.
Please help to make our voice heard. Contribute to our cause by signing the petition and inviting your friends and family to do so. Help enable richer education system and empower new generations aspire and achieve their great ambitions making the world better for everyone.
