I am beyond fed up with the Heads Up Alliance. They claim to know what's best for the youth and act like they represent them. Let’s be real—they couldn’t be more out of touch. They are pushing an agenda that assumes young people are incapable of managing their own online lives, and it's insulting.
But there’s good news. We know we have strong allies on our side. Politicians like Adam Bandt, Julie Inman Grant, and Fatima Payman are standing with us, and so are many other MPs, journalists, and even the head of Digital Rights Watch, Samantha Floreani. The world is watching Australia right now, and they are not impressed with the government's overreach.
If we intervene now, we can make Australia,, and the world, proud. We’ve got one year before companies are forced to implement the Labor and Liberal legislation. That's plenty of time to take action. The Heads Up Alliance may think they’ve won, but we can still change the course if we act strategically.
Together, we can keep the age the same and protect the right to choose how the future engage with the modern day. Stay tuned and stay strong—let's show the world what we're made of.
