Protect U.S. National Security: Investigate IRGC-Affiliated Supporters Living in from US
The Issue
We, concerned members of the Iranian community and advocates for human rights and democratic values, formally call upon United States authorities to initiate an immediate, thorough, and lawful review of the immigration status, activities, and public conduct of Leila Hajizadeh, (live in NV) who has been publicly identified as a relative of a senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) — an entity designated by the United States as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
Multiple publicly available materials, archived screenshots, and documented social-media activity indicate that Leila Hajizadeh has expressed support for IRGC-affiliated figures, including Qassem Soleimani, and has used rhetoric widely interpreted as threatening toward the United States and Israel. Notably, the relevant content appears not to have been corrected or retracted but instead removed from public view, while her ongoing conduct, statements, and social-media stories reportedly continue to reflect ideological alignment and support for narratives associated with the IRGC. The removal of content without clarification or accountability does not negate its significance. Rather, the existence of preserved screenshots and documented online behavior suggests an awareness of the gravity of such statements. When combined with the broader context of recent violent crackdowns by Iranian authorities against civilians and peaceful protesters — actions widely condemned by international observers — any public endorsement or normalization of such rhetoric raises serious national-security and ethical concerns.
It is deeply troubling that individuals who appear to publicly support or legitimize organizations designated as terrorist entities, and who allegedly threaten democratic nations through online messaging, may seek to benefit from the protections and freedoms provided by the United States while many Iranians continue to suffer under repression.
Therefore, we respectfully but firmly request that U.S. authorities:
• Conduct a comprehensive and transparent legal review of any immigration or residency privileges connected to individuals whose public conduct indicates support for IRGC-related actors or narratives.
• Consider archived social-media screenshots and documented digital behavior — including removed posts and story content — as part of any lawful assessment.
• Ensure strict and equal enforcement of U.S. national-security laws in cases where public statements appear to endorse extremist actors or threaten democratic nations.
• Demonstrate solidarity with victims of state violence in Iran by upholding accountability standards consistent with U.S. law and democratic values.
This petition is grounded in the principles of rule of law, national security, and human-rights accountability. It does not target any ethnicity or nationality; rather, it calls for consistent enforcement of U.S. law where credible evidence suggests public support for designated terrorist organizations or rhetoric promoting intimidation and violence.
