As a passionate English citizen, I am deeply disturbed by the ongoing attempts to eradicate and control the display of our beloved St George flag. This flag is not just a piece of cloth; it represents our identity, history, and values that have shaped this great nation! Recently, American corporate entities with no roots in England have taken it upon themselves to alter the St George flag on our national football kit for their own narrative and agenda. This is not merely a "playful update"; rather, it's an assault on our national symbol.

The St George flag has been an emblem of England since medieval times. Its red cross on a white background is immediately recognizable worldwide as a symbol of English heritage and pride and it is a travesty that it has been allowed to be changed to blue and pink colours. To change or erase this symbol is to deny us our right to express who we are as a nation.

In recent years, there has been an alarming trend towards eradicating symbols of national identity under various pretexts globally. In 2018 alone, over 20 countries reported instances where their national symbols were targeted for removal or alteration (source: Global Report on National Symbols). We cannot allow this trend to continue unchallenged in England!!!

We must stand together against these attempts at cultural erasure. We call upon all proud English citizens and supporters worldwide to join us in protecting the integrity of the St George flag - not just on our football kits but everywhere it proudly waves across England.
