Petition to Keep the Regiopolis Notre Dame Catholic High School Cheerleading Team Active

To: School Board, Principal, and Relevant Authorities

We, the undersigned students, parents, alumni, and community members, strongly urge Regiopolis Notre Dame Catholic High School to continue supporting and maintaining the cheerleading team.

Cheerleading is not just a sport; it is a rigorous physical activity that promotes health, fitness, and discipline. It teaches students the value of teamwork, perseverance, and commitment, confidence and many more skills that are essential both on and off the mat.

The cheerleading team is a long-standing tradition at Regiopolis Notre Dame Catholic High School. It is a part of the school’s identity and heritage, cherished by current students, alumni, and the broader community. Disbanding the team would mean losing a piece of our school’s history.

We believe that eliminating the cheerleading team would be a disservice to the students and the school community. Therefore, we respectfully request that the administration reconsider any plans to discontinue the cheerleading team and instead provide the necessary support to keep this vital program alive.
