Hello

Please help put a stop to this ,the county council are planning  on putting a cycle lane through Deansgrange cemetery  and lowering the beautiful granite wall and replacing it with railings ,which will leave the grave yard completely open and not private ,this is a sacred place where we go to visit our loved ones .

This is so close to my heart as my 12 year old son was buried there 5 years ago ,the peace and serenity at Callum’s resting place has been a huge comfort to me and my family ,our family is only one of the many families that this plan is going to effect ,since highlighting this issue several other families who are equally distressed have reached out to me ,some of which until now we’re totally unaware of the councils plans .

This plan is so insensitive and I’m appalled that such a sacred space which has been a comfort to our community since  1865 is going to be destroyed in such a manner.

Please help me put a stop to this madness.
